My in-laws have a cherry tree that isn't that big but produces a billion cherries. We were able to once again take advantage of the delicious fruit. We have picked several times over the past week and decided it was time to do something with the fruit besides just munching on it. I had some incredible cherry jam (thank you Kristi) last year and wanted to make some but knew what a pain it would be to pit every single little cherry. I asked Jay to buy a cherry pitter, you have to press your hand down on a little handle thing and the pit comes out. He said no, he had a better idea. This is what I came home to.

He is using a stiff straw, that has a heart twisted into it at the top, as a cherry pitter. My husband may be frugile but at least he is creative.

Dude, it's called BB&B clearance. http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=13369178&RN=614
Tell frugal Jay that it's only $12.99, so even if he were paid minimum wage to do the job he's better off forking out the money.
Hi camille, it is so great you found me. And yes I do some great things with balance, so get down or up here. You look good, take care, kim
